(Violin and Viola) String Department Chair
Also on the faculty in Strings at Lincoln University. He has
performed extensively as a soloist and as a chamber musician.
His chamber recital experience includes a performance in Chicago
Symphony Orchestra Hall, Seoul Arts Center, as well as
performances with Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp Faculty Quartet, the
Kiwi String Quintet, and the Ardent String Quartet. Dr. Kim has
performed concerts throughout Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Arkansa,
Missouri, as well as in Korea, France, England and Switzland. He
has been a member of the Great Lansing Symphony Orchestra,
Chicago Civic Orchestra, Midland Symphony Orchestra and KBS
Symphony Orchestra and the assistant principal violist of the
Jackson Symphony Orchestra.

Started playing the violin at age 5. 1987 Entered to the special
Baiseitova music school (Graduated in 2000). Studied with
Abdusadykova Svetlana, Gaukhar Murzabekova. 1994 Laureate of
Zhubanov International Festival. 1997 Grand Prize of festival
¡°Our future¡± 2001-2005 Studied in Kazakh National Academy of
Music. 2003 1st prize of International competition
¡°Shabyt-Inspiration¡± in violin nomination. 2004 Grand prize of
¡°Shabyt-Inspiration¡± in chamber music nomination. 2003-2005
Soloist of chamber ensemble ¡°Musica d¡¯accordo Astana.¡± The
ensemble 2005-2006 member of Plano Symphony and Irving Symphony.

Ki Hoon Cha (Tenor) Director
Studied Voice pedagogy and Performance in Westminster Choir
College in Princeton ,NJ (Master degree) under Professor Thomas
Farracco. He stayed in Karls Ruhe Germany for experience of
German music atmosphere in 1988-1989. During the time he studied
German lieder with Professor of Stuttgart Musik Hochschule,
Helmut Lips. He has long list of repertoire includes opera,
oratorio, chamber and art song literature. Roles he has
performed are Tamino in Mozart Magic Flute, Alfredo in Verdi¡¯s
La Traviata, and Tenor solos in Religious Works (Haydn¡¯s
Creation, Handel Messiah , Mendelssohn's Elijah, Rossini¡¯s
Stabat Mater, Beethoven 9th symphony.)
